These are two of the photos I shall use for my cards for photography.
This one is a 'Sorry For Your Loss' card. I wanted to make it a little different than normal and we were only allowed to use natural things. I used a candle under the flower to give the light on one side. Unfortunately, I set fire to the flower but luckily you cannot see the singed petals. I really like this as the red is a strong colour that is normally linked with strong emotions such as passion and anger. Together with the green leaf it creates a powerfull and emotional card. I didnt want the card too depressing so I cut a gravestone out of the leaf and cut out 'RIP' to lighten the card a little and make it a little more obvious as to what the card was meant for.
This card is a wedding card but I am unsure about it. The leaves and flowers represent the bouquet but I think I should have made it more like a bouquet and had more flowers, but at the same time I don't want it to look like a normal card. I want it to look different and stand out. The yellow flowers brighten up the photo and contrast with the dark green leaves.
