University - Falmouth

I have applied for 3 universities. The one that I most want to get into is Falmouth University. The course I want to do is Marine & Natural History Photography BA (Hons) Degree. In order to get an interview I had to complete a couple of tasks for them. The first of which I had to send them 10 images that told a story. These were the ones I sent them.

My idea behind this was the story of fungi. They are often overlooked and yet they are essential to a healthy woodland and the food chain.

Ikea Project

With this project we were given an Ikea table and we had to create something with it. We are working in teams of two. My partner is Kirsty. We are both specialising in photography so we decided to take birds eye photos of things that you would normally find on tables and cover the table in the photographs.
We have come up with a list of things that we would find on a table and are bringing them in bits at a time to take pictures of them.

This is an example of some of the photographs that we have taken already. In these we have decided to take several and change things a little on each so they form a little story.

We have taken this picture of a healthy bunch of flowers and we have left them above the radiator so that they will wilt and die and then we will take another picture of them with the card slightly stained so it looks like they have been forgotten about.
